A Look at the Line 6 DL4 MkII Guitar Effects Pedal- An Updated Classic

6 dl4

Hey there, fellow guitarists!

If you're like me, you're always on the lookout for new gear to add to your rig.

One pedal that's been a favorite of mine for years is the Line 6 DL4.

It's an awesome delay pedal that offers a ton of different effects, from a simple slapback to trippy soundscapes.

Recently, Line 6 came out with an updated version of the DL4, called the DL4 MkII. I wanted to share my thoughts on it, so here it goes.

First off, the new DL4 has more effects than the original. There are 15 different delay models, including some really cool tape and analog sounds.

There's also a bunch of new reverbs and the ability to combine all of these things.

The DL4 MkII also has a longer looper than the original. It's now 240 seconds and it's expandable with a micro SD.

It's great for practicing, writing, or even using it live. I've had a ton of fun with it so far.

One of my main concerns when upgrading from the original DL4 was whether the new sounds would match up.

However, I am happy to report that the new sounds are on par with the original!

In fact, I particularly enjoy the Sweep Echo and Low Res Delay sounds, which I couldn't find in any other pedal.

I even compared the self-oscillation of the Low Res versus the new one and found it to be mad usable.

Overall, I'm really happy with the DL4 MkII.

It's a great update to an already awesome pedal. If you're in the market for a new delay pedal, definitely give it a try.

You won't be disappointed!
